Dr Kat is one of a comparatively small handful of Australian dentists who have invested the huge amount of time, effort and expense necessary, to travel to America and further his studies in the field of cosmetic, implant and neuromuscular dentistry.
That training has helped Dr Kat pursue excellence in diagnosing and delivering options that give his clients the results they want. Dr Kat is qualified to use a wide range of advanced techniques and materials, and has developed a critical eye for aesthetic excellence and the imagination for an artistic result.
Dr Kat also teams up with the best laboratories in the world who are artists and masters in their fields, to enable him to deliver individually-designed smiles that are natural, unique and as special as each person they are handcrafted for.
He has trained with some of the leading cosmetic dentists, including Bill Dorfman, from Extreme Makeover. Dr Kat and his wife Dr Vicky Ho (Advanced Dental Artistry, Mosman Park) are contributors to Roscoe's Thai Projects, providing funding and volunteering to build schools and dormitories, and providing dental treatment to children in remote Northern Thailand. Volunteer work has also taking him to Cambodia and Myanmar.
Dr Kat was born in London, UK and grew up in Perth, Western Australia. He completed his dental degree at the University of Western Australia in 1993. He has worked in several prominent Perth practices (Applecross and Perth city) and also in private practice in the London. He comes from a family of dentists and has working with his father, sister and wife. He lives with his wife, Dr Vicky Ho (Advanced Dental Artistry, Mosman Park), and three children, Jordan (11), Tristan (7) and Wilson (1).
Since beginning dental practice, Dr Kat has completed thousands of hours in continuing education, with an emphasis on implant surgery, head, neck, and facial pain treatment, dental cosmetics, and complex dental reconstruction. He has travelled throughout Australia, to Europe and the USA to complete cosmetic and implant training with the world’s leaders in their field. He has introduced cutting-edge techniques such as Deep WhiteningTM into Perth He is a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI) of Advanced Dental Studies, where he has been the first Western Australian dentist to complete several training programs and has working on patients in the USA. He completed his implant surgery studies in Geneva, Switzerland in 2001. He is the lecturer for Sirona Dental Systems, where he trains other dentists in various aspects of dentistry with an emphasis on dental lasers. He has devoted more than 10 years to developing a practice that combines art, science and technology with personlised dental care.
Since 1997, Dr Kat has transformed the smiles of thousands of happy clients and in the process, has developed a standing for excellence in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry.
Outside dentistry some of his pastimes are Ashtanga Yoga and photography. His photographic work has been published in several books and magazines (the most recently (2006+2009) in books by Gregor Maehle and BOX magazine), as well as exhibitions.

After growing up in a dental family and working as a dental receptionist in a busy Melbourne practice, I moved to Perth to study Dental Hygiene. Having graduated with distinction and several awards, I now work as one of Dr Kat’s Dental Hygienists. My role is to help our patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile by assisting with gum health, oral hygiene and advice on various whitening procedures. I am a member of both the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia (DHAA) and the Dental Therapy and Hygiene Association (DTHA) Western Australian branches and I take every opportunity to increase my knowledge and advance my skills in all areas of dental hygiene. I enjoy everyday spent with the wonderful team at Advanced Dental Artistry and I hope that our patients feel the same way.

A little about myself, I qualified in 2004, in London. The practices that I had most of my experience at were prestige cosmetic practices in the city, therefore was most happy to seek out Dr Kat's practice.
Working in cosmetic dentistry has given me such reward throughout my career. You don’t realise how giving a smile to a person can transform their life!!
I arrived in Australia in October 2007 and have been very fortunate to find a practice and dentist like Adrian's. The team are an absolute joy to work with and what a lovely atmosphere we have to work in! I feel very at home here. -

Hi, welcome to our website and thank you for stopping to read a little more about us. I have to start by saying that I am privileged to be married to a wonderful man who is an inspiration and support in my everyday life of running my own practice as well as being a mum to 2 very active, busy, extremely wonderful young boys, and to acknowledge the wonderful team that I have behind me in building the practice of our dreams. Without them, none of this would be possible.
I graduated from dentistry in 1993 and since then have embarked on a wonderful journey of learning, growing and furthering myself in this field. I am thankful that I have chosen a profession that gives me so much joy, and that I can truly say that I LOVE MY JOB! I love the people I work with, I love the patients I see, who become like extended family/friends to me. I am so thankful to be in a profession that allows me to really make a difference in many peoples’ daily lives, in helping people to feel better about themselves, in building relationships that last years and years.
I have dedicated myself to continuously attending post-graduate courses after leaving dental school, not only to keep myself up to date with the latest materials, techniques and technology, but also in areas that I have a passion for, that give me joy. I constantly strive for ways on how we can do things better, how we can improve our skills, knowledge, and customer service. I dedicate countless hours into education of myself and my team as I always believe, “ The higher you climb, the further you see… the further you see, the less that you know…..The less that you know, the higher you climb!!!”
I live my life by the following rule: “live like this is your last day, and learn and plan like you’ll live forever.” I’d like to make every moment count, and make a difference to people’s lives. I hope that I can make a difference in yours too.
Dr Vicky Ho graduated in 1993 from the University of Western Australia, receiving honourable prizes for Best Student in her year for Preventive dentistry and Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery. She has since furthered her education by attending numerous post-graduate training courses including world renowned courses from the prestigious LAS VEGAS INSTITUTE, the world’s leading centre for Cosmetic and Neuromuscular Dentistry.

Passions in my life include my beloved sport and marital art Taekwondo, I am a member of the ATI club in Perth, a hobby and sport which I share with my two young sons. We beat each other up for fun!!
We love travelling, especially off the beaten track, snowboarding, trekking, backpacking, camping and extreme sport such as skydiving, horse-riding and shopping in Hong Kong are great favourites.
I believe that in gaining prosperity, we also have to give something back. We help raise funds for charities such as the MS society of Perth, Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, and we sponsor 3 under-priviledged children from Tanzania, Kenya, and Indonesia.

Hi my name is Nadia Velkoski & I will be the first smile that you see when you enter our lovely practice. I will help you with anything you need to know from answering any questions or queries through helping you with financial arrangements and scheduling your treatment.
I started off as a Dental Assistant with Dr Adrian Kat (Dr Vicky Ho's husband) for 4 & half years & then moved onto my Practice Coordinator Position with Dr Vicky Ho.
I have been in the dental industry for 6 years now & took a 2 year career break to work with Bankwest. I have now returned to my role within the practice as I missed the friendly contact with clients that I so enjoyed when I worked with Dr Ho.
Working with Dr Ho has shown me that when you love a profession, it manifests through the determination, enthusiasm & passion she has for her patients & her job. Dr Ho's drive to always be the best that she can be shows in the level of client care reflects in her standard of work.
Because she also wants her team members to strive to be the best in their field, she has also given us many opportunities for team training and advanced education. I have had the opportunity to travel interstate while working with Dr Ho to further enhance my Practice Management skills within the dental industry. Working with Dr Ho I have learnt so much both at work & on a personal level.
I feel that I am a valued Team Member & build value for the patients that we treat. Dentistry at our practice is about looking after the whole person & helping them reach their goals to a truly better smile & giving them the overall best patient experience that they could possibly have at a dental practice.

Hi, I am Tania, and I will be your treatment assistant while you are attending our lovely practice. I became interested in dentistry after doing work experience with my cousin and her dentist in City Beach. 14 years ago, I completed my DCA course to be a fully qualified dental assistant. Having worked for my previous employer for 12 years, a change was needed for me to get back the love that I had of the industry…………….and What a Change!!
The girls as well as the environment are warm and inviting. The comprehensive dental treatment that Dr Vicky Ho and her team perform is second to none. The smiles and the lives that we see changed make my job as Vicky’s “Right Hand” not feel like a job but an absolute pleasure.
